AFROSON1C X (AFX), West Africa’s premier platform for music, innovation, and cultural exchange, returns to Accra on Saturday, 10 January 2026 at Treehouse Restaurant, Nyaniba.

Following acclaimed international showcases at SXSW London and Reeperbahn Festival in 2025, AFX returns home with a clear mission: to connect the global creative ecosystem with the next wave of West African talent, ideas and influence.

Produced by the team that has brought major international acts such as GRAMMY Award-winner PJ Morton of Maroon 5 and Denzel Curry to Ghana, AFX continues to solidify Accra’s reputation as one of the world’s most exciting hubs for creative discovery.

Headliner Announcement: The Cavemen.

AFX proudly announces The Cavemen. — Kingsley & Benjamin Okorie — as the official headliners for 2026. The Nigerian-born duo are the global torchbearers of modern highlife, blending ancestral rhythms with jazz-infused arrangements and contemporary soul. Their work embodies the AFX mandate: innovation rooted in culture.

Introducing the AFX Legacy Performance: Amakye Dede

We are proud to announce Amakye Dede in the new AFX Legend Slot — a moment created to honour the giants who shaped Ghana’s musical identity. As we build the future of West African music and culture, it is essential that we honour the past. Amakye Dede’s presence bridges generations: a living icon whose highlife legacy continues to influence today’s alternative, soul, and afro-fusion artists. His performance is not simply nostalgic — it is a reminder that the future stands strongest when it is rooted in the greatness that came before.
