Idil Collective continues its journey of intentional collaboration with “Type” & “Oddi”, a two-track release bringing together Omer and Dreez M. Both records are produced by Omera, with additional production on “Type” by Kessthegenius.
“Type” is a melodic and dreamy love song about finding the one, recognising that connection, and confidently standing by the choice — a declaration that you are my type and my kind. In contrast, “Oddi” is energetic and uptempo, driven by aspiration, confidence, and faith in the future, embracing the belief that everything unfolds according to God’s orchestration.
Together, the two records reflect different sides of Idil Collective’s collaborative approach, bringing artists and producers together to create music that connects distinct voices, experiences, and sounds while continuing its vision of championing contemporary African music, artist discovery, and creative collaboration.
