Rising R&B and Afro Soul singer KiKi Celine has released a live acoustic version of “Suffocated,” her latest single, giving listeners a quieter, more intimate look at the record just days before her debut EP arrives.
The newly unveiled session strips away studio production to highlight KiKi Celine's raw vocal prowess and emotional depth. Blending contemporary R&B sensibilities with classic soul roots, the stripped-back version offers listeners a soothing, velvet-toned performance that underscores her range as both a vocalist and a storyteller.
Joined on the performance by Julian Andoh on guitars and Insvne Auggie on keys, "Suffocated" delves into themes of emotional vulnerability and personal constraint. These resonant themes are amplified by the organic arrangement of the live acoustic setup. The release highlights her performance capabilities ahead of her first full-length project.
The acoustic version of “Suffocated” is available to watch now on KiKi Celine’s YouTube channel. Her debut EP follows on Thursday.
