Ghanaian Afrobeats artiste Lasmid is set to headline his maiden concert, Lasmid Live in Concert, on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at The Palms Convention Centre, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Accra.
Themed “The Legacy Begins”, the concert marks a defining new chapter in a journey that has taken Lasmid from a young emerging talent in Takoradi to one of Ghana’s most distinctive contemporary voices.
Lasmid first captured national attention after winning MTN Hitmaker Season 8 in 2019, before Friday Night became his breakout hit in 2022. Since then, he has built an impressive catalogue with records including Puul, Running, Olivia, Bad Boy, Atele, Biggest Nathaniel and Liquor Store.
His journey has also seen him collaborate with artists across Ghana and the wider African music scene, including King Promise, KiDi, Tml Vibez, Kweku Smoke, Wendy Shay and JZyNO, with Butta My Bread becoming one of the records that introduced his distinctive sound to an even wider audience.
As the catalogue has grown, so has the demand from fans to experience it all in one place.
Across social media, performances and fan interactions, Lasmid’s audience has consistently called for his own headline concert; a night dedicated to the songs and moments they have experienced with him over the years.
And Lasmid has been listening.
“Sometimes I look back from Hitmaker till now and it’s crazy to see how far we’ve come. You guys have really been there through everything. I see the comments and I know you’ve been asking for a concert for a long time but the requests got crazier this year, so I feel like it’s finally time. I want us to have a night where it’s just me, you guys and all these songs we’ve made memories with”, Lasmid says.
The Legacy Begins
For Lasmid, December 5 is more than another performance.
“The Legacy Begins represents both a celebration of everything achieved so far and a statement about what is still to come”. For the first time, Lasmid gets the opportunity to bring the different chapters of his journey together on one stage and tell the full story through his music.
Rather than simply recreating his recorded songs, Lasmid Live in Concert will give fans a different experience of his catalogue through live arrangements, visuals, performances, surprises and carefully curated moments created specifically for the night.
At the centre of it all are the people who have supported the journey; the listeners, fans, DJs, creators and audiences who have continued to carry the music and, ultimately, demanded this moment.
Everything we’ve done has brought us to this moment, and for me, this is where the legacy begins, Lasmid adds.
The maiden edition also signals the beginning of Lasmid Live as an experience that can grow alongside the artist, creating new chapters as his music, audience and journey continue to evolve.
The fans asked. Lasmid listened.
On December 5, The Legacy Begins.
